What happens in a game

The bunny stands on small platforms that float, and the goal is to jump from one to another and collect carrots. The platforms are small, so the jumps matter, and traps keep appearing to make them harder.

The traps come in three kinds. Arrows fall from above, circular saws slide along the platforms, and spiked balls swing in the gaps. Each trap gives a short warning before it becomes dangerous, so the game is more about reading signals than about fast reflexes alone.

One wrong move ends the game. This makes rounds short and repeatable: you fail, restart and try again with what you learned about the traps.

A golden carrot counts as three normal ones but stays on screen only for a few seconds. It is a risk to weigh: the reward is greater, but reaching it may mean leaving a safe platform at the wrong moment. You can play alone, or with a friend in co-op or versus mode.

A round has a rhythm worth learning. You wait for a warning, you move during the safe gap, and you land on a platform that is itself under threat from the next trap. After a few attempts most of the pattern becomes familiar, and the small platforms stop feeling like random targets.

Versus mode turns the same screen into a contest between two players, while co-op has you share the goal. Poki says nothing more about how scores or winners are decided, so we do not describe it further.

Habits worth building

  1. 1Read each warning before moving. The game gives one for every trap, and ignoring it is the usual cause of a failed round.
  2. 2Decide about the golden carrot before it appears. It lasts only a few seconds, so hesitating halfway is worse than either skipping it or going straight for it.
  3. 3Stay on the platform until the trap above or beside you has passed. Moving early rarely gains more than a second.
  4. 4If you play with a friend, agree on who takes which side. In co-op mode it avoids both of you jumping for the same carrot.

Who it fits

Players who like short, hard challenges and who accept starting over. It also fits people who want something to play together, since co-op and versus modes are included.

Downsides to know

  • A single mistake ends the game, which makes it frustrating for anyone who prefers a gentler pace.
  • Poki mentions a keyboard but gives no key list, and does not list devices, so we cannot say how it handles on a phone.
  • The game is hosted on Poki, a separate platform that may show advertising.
  • Rounds are short, and Poki does not give a figure for how long a typical one lasts.
