About Filanhrolvlynx
A small information site that explains a handful of games in plain language.
What this site is
Filanhrolvlynx is an information website about free games. It does not host or run any game. It describes each one and points to the game's page on Poki.
Address: Gedimino pr. 20, LT-01103 Vilnius, Lithuania. Phone: +370 612 48395.
The people behind the text
The descriptions are written by the Filanhrolvlynx team. We do not publish individual author names or biographies. Nothing on these pages is attributed to a person who does not exist.
Choosing and describing games
The games were selected from Poki's listings. For each one, we read the game's page on Poki and write only what it states: the genre, the developer, the controls, the devices and a summary of the gameplay. Where Poki does not say something, the page says "Not listed on Poki" rather than guessing.
General advice in the tips sections is our own and describes ways of approaching a type of game; it does not describe hidden features. Each page shows the date we last confirmed its facts. When Poki changes a page or we find an error, we update the text and the date together.
Independence from Poki and the developers
Filanhrolvlynx is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Poki or by the studios that made the games. Game names, descriptions and cover art belong to their owners. Links to Poki are informational and open the game's page in a new tab.
When a detail changes
The date at the top of each game page is the date we last read the matching Poki page. If a detail is wrong or out of date, write to support@filanhrolvlynx.com and say which page and which sentence. We correct confirmed errors and change the date when we do.
